Lori Cavalcanti, DVM

Dr. Lori Cavalcanti is a dedicated veterinarian whose lifelong passion for animals began in childhood—often coaxing neighborhood pets home with cheese and hot dogs. A proud graduate of Kansas State University's College of Veterinary Medicine (Class of 2000), she has built a diverse and fulfilling career across California, Tennessee, and now Northeast Ohio.
Known for her compassionate approach to care, Dr. Lori finds the greatest joy in practicing medicine and showering her patients with treats and attention. Her genuine love for animals is matched by her commitment to building trusting relationships with pet owners and their families.
Outside of her professional life, Dr. Lori is a devoted wife and mother of three boys. Her eldest is currently attending Kent State University, while her younger sons are navigating high school as senior and freshman. She treasures time spent with her family—whether cheering from the sidelines at sporting events, enjoying the outdoors, experimenting in the kitchen, or getting lost in a good book.
